The A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) claims that the governing People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) is threatening those who have affixed their signatures in support of the APNU’s list of candidates ahead of the September 2025 poll.

The APNU Coalition condemns the PPP and its activists for intimidating and threatening persons who have affixed their signatures in support of the APNU list. Persons are being told by PPP agents that they would be targeted and would lose their jobs. These acts of desperation by the PPP must be promptly denounced by all Guyanese. We must not allow these acts to escalate. The APNU Coalition is encouraged that Guyanese are resisting these efforts and are standing up for their rights. Come September 1st, let us use our votes to end this dark era of PPP rule.
