At about 20:00 hrs last night, police on the Essequibo Coast found the two sisters who were reported missing on June 21, 2025.
Ranks were on mobile patrol when they were informed that the two girls were lying in a hammock at the Supenaam waterfront on the Essequibo Coast, Region 2.
The girls, ages 12 and 15, are from, East Berbice, Region 6.
They informed the police that they had travelled to Parika from where they took a speedboat to Essequibo Coast, “looking for someone”. Efforts are underway to have the person contacted as the girls claimed.
The mother of the children was also contacted and arrangements were made for her to receive them.
