TechnipFMC, a global leader in oil and gas projects and a major subcontractor for ExxonMobil and its partners in the Stabroek block has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for several local services.
The company said this includes all-inclusive onsite canteen services, packaging services which includes the provision of corrugated packaging material – cardboard boxes of various sizes and types; and IT/ network services, which entail the supply of network printers (leased) with the provision of installation and maintenance services.
Technip FMC is also seeking providers for lifting equipment services for the manufacture/supply of shackles, slings, etc.; workshop services for fabrication and welding services for aluminum welding and fabrication services; provision of HSE accredited training and certification of personnel for fire fighting, working at heights, first aid and CPR, rigging and lifting, and offshore training and certification.
The company is also seeking provision of equipment training, like pressure testing, flushing, safety, maintenance and practical hands on assessments.
Interested companies must be registered with the Local Content Secretariat and the Centre for Local Business Development (CLBD) in Guyana. They must also submit a company profile with details such as contact information, TIN, VAT, relevant experience and reference.

The company noted that this is not a request for proposals or a guarantee of contract award. It was stated, “…there is no commitment or obligation, implied or otherwise, for TechnipFMC to issue a tender or enter into a contract.
“Participation in this EOl exercise does not construe or imply any commitment to any party, or entitle any party to any indemnity or any form of payment from TechnipFMC.”
