A Partnership for National Unity’s (APNU) pick for representation in the National Assembly has come under severe scrutiny by party supporters and detractors alike. Social media has seen a proliferation of comments regarding the pick, with many condemning the exclusion of figures who were featured prominently in the party’s campaign.

Many believe that the exclusion of perceived hard workers like Christopher Jones, Edin Corbin and Ronald Daniels to be unjust.

However, Daniels seems to have no objections to the 12 who are now being liken to disciples. Via a short Facebook video, Daniels sought to alleviate speculations that he is may be discontent.

He said, “We have a lot of work to get done and I am committed to the process…We have a formidable team going to parliament and I have every confidence that our team is going to represent us well. They are going to represent with distinction.”
