Police have arrested a miner who was wanted in connection with two murder investigations, one in Linden and the other in Bartica.
Travis Brewster, also called “Turpin,” a miner of Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, for whom a wanted bulletin had been issued, was arrested on Monday January 26, 2026 about 15:35hrs at 14 Mile, Issano Landing, Region Seven.
Brewster was wanted in relation to the murder of Ron Clarke, which occurred in Linden on July 17, 2025, and the murder of Emanuel Williams, called “Chiny,” a gold miner of Five Miles Scheme, Bartica.
He is presently in police custody as investigations continue.
