Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha recently met with a team of investors from Panama to discuss opportunities for revitalizing palm oil production in Guyana as part of the government’s broader push to expand and diversify the agriculture sector.
During the engagement, discussions focused on potential investments, modern production techniques, and the establishment of a sustainable and competitive palm oil industry that can contribute to value-added production, job creation, and increased export earnings.
