A post-mortem examination was conducted on Thursday March 26, 2026 on the body of Seth Fredricks, 20, of Paramakatoi Village, North Pakaraimas, who died on Monday March 23, 2026.
The examination was performed by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh at Paramakatoi Village, North Pakaraimas, who gave the cause of death as compression to the neck, consistent with hanging.
The body was subsequently handed over to relatives for burial.
The teen was found hanging earlier this week moments after partying with a woman said to be his partner.
His family was in disbelief and suspected foulplay as they observed the area where Fredricks was found was not conducive to support hanging of someone his height. Police had said the investigation continued owing to conflicting statements. But with the Post Mortem now arriving at findings consistent with initial investigations, the matter is considered closed.
