As the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) works to rebrand following its loss at the 2025 General and Regional Elections, the party’s newly appointed parliamentary leader, Dr. Terrence Campbell, has pledged that the party will campaign across the length and breadth of Guyana.

He said there will no no stone left unturned, that their campaign will also include strongholds of the People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C).

At the 2025 polls, APNU not only lost to the governing PPP/C but was also dethroned as the country’s main opposition. Newcomer We Invest in Nationhood (WIN), led by sanctioned businessman Azruddin Mohamed, secured 16 seats in the National Assembly, while APNU managed to secure 12.

Dr Campbell, founder of the Camex Group, was recently announced as APNU’s parliamentary leader in the 13th Parliament of Guyana. It was stated that he brings experience in finance, logistics, and entrepreneurship to the role.

In a video shared to his Facebook page, Campbell said he was humbled to have been selected as parliamentary leader and vowed to use the position to, “bring some change into how the parliamentary delegation operates and deliver not only for those who voted for us, but for all of the people of Guyana.”

Dr Campbell also reminded that APNU is a national party with no geographical limits. “We will be visiting Babu Jaan, and we will be in Anna Regina, and we will be in Charity, and we will be in Leonora…there is no place that we will be limited to geographically, we will campaign from coast to coast,” Campbell declared.
