This morning, residents of Retrieve, Region 10, engaged the Government during the ongoing Cabinet Outreach by President Irfaan Ali, raising a number of matters affecting their community and the wider region.

Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha, responded to the concerns raised, highlighting the Government’s continued investments and interventions aimed at improving the lives of residents across Region 10.

He also outlined the Government’s vision to further diversify Region 10’s economy through agriculture, including positioning the region to become a major producer of black-eye and red beans for both local consumption and export.

Minister Mustapha was accompanied by Director General in the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, Ms. Sonia Latchman, as the team engaged residents and listened to their concerns.

Minister Mustapha assured residents that the matters raised will be followed up with the relevant authorities and that the Government remains committed to working with communities to address their needs and advance development across Region 10.

The Cabinet Outreach reflects President Ali and the Government’s commitment to taking governance directly to the people, listening to their concerns and ensuring that development reaches every community.
