National Coordinator of the Border Patrol Daniel Seeram has walked free after Magistrate Abigail Gibbs suspended his 13-month prison sentence for assaulting his ex-wife.
Seeram had been remanded to prison last month following his conviction in the domestic violence matter. The magistrate’s decision suspends the prison term subject to a condition concerning his conduct over the next 13 months.
Under that condition, if Seeram is convicted of another offence during the 13-month period, he could be required to serve the 13-month prison sentence.
