Following the conclusion of the 2019 SBF Petroleum One-day 50-overs league, which saw Lower Corentyne claiming the domestic title over Essequibo; the Guyana Cricket Board has named its side which will represent the Jaguars during the Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup.

The side will be led by seasoned skipper Leon Johnson and will see the return of fast-bowler Ronsford Beaton and all-rounder Jonathan Foo to National colours with both men producing excellent performances during the domestic league.

Also earning a call-up to the national side is young bowler Niall Smith while mainstays such as Chandrapaul Hemraj, Christopher Barnwell, Anthony Bramble, and Clinton Pestano are also included.

On the other hand, pacer Romario Sheperd who is currently on West Indies’ duties abroad could make a return after the series against Afghanistan.

The Jaguars will be playing in the Group ‘B’ matches, with their first game against the West Indies Emerging Players XI on November 7 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad.
