Police are investigating the death of Vanessa Davis, a 22-year-old Housewife/Gold Miner of Golden City Backdam, Baramita North West District, which occurred yesterday about 17:00hrs.
According to information received from Tishon Thomas, the reputed husband of the now deceased, on the day in question, he left home to purchase food stuff in the company of his wife and their two children. Whilst going along the journey, his wife complained of severe headache and shortness of breath. She then collapsed and started to froth from the mouth.
She was pronounced dead by the medex at the Baramita Health Centre.
The body will be transported to Port Kaituma Mortuary for storage, followed by a Post Mortem Examination. Investigations are ongoing.
