A porter, who has been allegedly involved in a series of armed robberies in Linden, Region 10, was today slapped with three counts of robbery under arms charges.

30-year-old Colis Jerrick of Lot 21 Third Alley, Wismar, appeared before Her Worship Wanda Fortune in the Linden Magistrate’s Court to answer the charges.

The first charge alleged that on November 23, 2019, at Buck Hill, he robbed Clifton Halley, of a Honda XR motorcycle valued at $450,000 property of Darrell George. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $150,000.

On the same day at Wisroc Wismar, the court heard that Jerrick robbed Oswin Skeete of $30,000. He was granted bail in the sum of $60,000.

The last charge stated that on November 24, 2019, at 47 Miles Mabura, Jerrick robbed Tessa and Leroy Couchman of $2 million and other valuables, totalling $4,458.00. The case was adjourned to January 19, 2021, for report and fixture.
