Orlando Persaud, 19, of Lot 133 Best Village, Squatting Area, West Coast Demerara, was hauled before Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate Court where he was not required to plead to the two charges.
The charges state that on January 30, 2021, at Lot 133 Best Village West Coast Demerara, he attempted to murder Shemiza Persaud and Harry Persaud.
He was remanded to prison until February 22, 2021, for report and fixture.
The police say he was arrested on the day in question by Detective Sergeant 19364 Williams and charged by Detective Constable # 21227 Hoyte.
