The Guyana Police Force, yesterday, between 09:00hrs and 11:30hrs, conducted an eradication at Ten Miles, Ituni Trail.
During the exercise, a field was discovered (1.5) acres with approximately three thousand five hundred cannabis sativa plants ranging from 1-3 feet in height and a camp. The cannabis plants along with the camp were destroyed.
The estimated street value for the cannabis plants is $4,767,000.
Investigation is ongoing.
