Ranks of Regional Division 4A, today, conducted cordon and searches in the following areas:

2. A, B, C, D, E and Plum Park Sophia
3. Prashad Nagar
4. Gordon Street, Kitty
5. Alexander Street, Kitty
6. William Street, Kitty
7. Alberttown
8. Bourda Market
9. Stabroek Market
10. Tiger Bay
11. Leopold Street;
Several mechanic shops, suspected drug houses, houses, motorists and pedestrians were searched and the following persons were arrested:
1. A 28-year-old construction worker of Guyhoc Park for being in possession of 105 grams of cannabis at Plum Park Sophia.
2. A 40-year-old broker of A Field Sophia for possession of five grams of cannabis.
3. A 28-year-old mechanic of Tucville for unlawful possession of motorcycles.
4. A 24-year-old unemployed male of C Field Sophia Squatting Area, pending a robbery under arms matter.
Eight motorcycles inclusive of XR, Trip, Honjue among others were seized. Ninety-two (92) grams of cannabis was found abandoned under Stabroek Market, all of which were lodged.
Several other detainees were profiled and sent away.
