A carpenter secured $200,000 bail after he denied stealing a motorcycle and other valuables including cash during two separate robberies.

Thirty-year-old Keon Simon, of Lot 11 Charles Street, Charlestown, was before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus when he was charged and granted bail for the offense. It is alleged that on May, 13, at Albouystown, while armed with a gun, he robbed Leon Small of a Honda XR CK-7464 valued at $445,000, a silver chain worth $35,000, and an LG cell phone valued at $100,000.

He also faces a charge which states that on the same date, while in the company of another and while armed with a gun he robbed Ronesha Tappin of $800 cash.

Simon was placed on $100,000 for each charge with the condition that he reports at the Ruimveldt Police Station every Monday.
The matter has been adjourned until June.
