Three more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1073.

Guyana has also recorded 665 new cases, taking confirmed infections since March 2020 to 46,005 from 451,724 tests.
There are 13 persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 89 in institutional isolation, 6,538 in home isolation, and nine in institutional quarantine.
Some 38,292 persons have since recovered.
