Two men were today charged with the possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking when they appeared at the Linden Magistrates’ Court via Zoom, before Her Worship, Magistrate Wanda Fortune on Friday.

 

The accused, 45-year-old Aubrey Williams and 56-year-old Kester Isaacs, both pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of $75,000 each, under the condition that they lodge their travel documents and report to the Mackenzie Police Station every first Monday of each month. They will make their next court appearance on June 27, 2022.

 

Williams is a mason of North East La Penitence, Georgetown and Isaacs is a farmer of Train Line, Wismar Linden. They were both arrested on April 27 at Wismar in connection with 250 grammes of cannabis found by cops during an operation.
