A Good Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD) fisherman has been arrested after a party of police officers found marijuana at his place of abode. The drug was uncovered during a cordon and search operation at around 04:00hrs on Monday.
During the search, cops found a quantity of cannabis leaves, seeds and stems on his bed. He was arrested, cautioned and escorted to the Sparendaam Police Station. The narcotics amounted to 27 grams.
