Noble Drilling, a prominent offshore drilling contractor headquartered in London, United Kingdom, is gearing up to host an eagerly anticipated event – the Q4 Open Supplier Day, slated for October 24, 2023 at Duke Lodge in Kingston, Georgetown.

The primary objective of this event is to establish connections and acquaint local suppliers with the dynamic oil and gas sector, as well as Noble’s intricate bidding process. Attendees are expected to gain invaluable insights directly from the company’s seasoned procurement professionals, delving into the complexities of the procurement process. Furthermore, participants will seize the opportunity to expand their professional networks and engage in meaningful discussions during networking sessions.

The forum will encompass a diverse array of stimulating discussions, including a dedicated exploration of the 2023 tenders. Additionally, the event will feature a moderated interactive discussion with a dedicated question and answer segment.

It is worth noting that Noble Drilling’s parent company, Noble Corporation, boasts a distinguished track record in the drilling industry. Recognized for their modern and technologically advanced fleet, they have been actively supporting Exxon’s drilling campaigns in Guyana for several years.

In February 2020, a groundbreaking commercial enabling agreement solidified the collaboration between Noble Corporation and ExxonMobil in the Guyana-Suriname Basin. This historic agreement included the integration of state-of-the-art ultra-deepwater drillships—Noble Bob Douglas, Noble Tom Madden, and Noble Don Taylor. Later, in August 2020, Noble Drilling secured a noteworthy six-month contract for the esteemed Noble Sam Croft drillship with Exxon.

Adding to their recent achievements, Noble Drilling has received a significant extension of their backlog commitment from Exxon under the Commercial Enabling Agreement (CEA). This extension has led to an expanded contract duration for four drillships—Noble Tom Madden, Noble Sam Croft, Noble Don Taylor, and Noble Bob Douglas. These exceptional vessels will operate under the CEA from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2027, reinforcing Noble Drilling’s prominent position in the industry.
