Friedlander Guyana recently disclosed that it has massive expansion plans for the Guyana Shorebase Inc (GYSBI) Annex on the East Bank of Demerara (EBD).

The company, known for its expertise in various sectors, is set to open a fabrication facility within the GYSBI annex, Plot 7 —a facility that promises to take its operations to the next level.

Friedlander describes itself as being well-established in offshore and onshore oil, energy, mining, and heavy industry sectors, offering specialized services such as metal fabrication, boiler making, pipe-making, painting works, industrial maintenance, industrial shutdown, electrical works, civil engineering, and industrial cleaning. The company’s diverse range of services positions it as a key player in these sectors.

It said the new facility will carry a variety of components including fabrication workshops, blasting/painting workshop, hydrotest zone, maintenance workshop, consumables storage, administration facilities, materials storage, a car park, and a classroom. This move is indicative of Friedlander Guyana’s commitment to providing top-tier services to its clients in a range of industries.

One of the important aspects of Friedlander Guyana’s expansion is its unwavering commitment to adhering to industry standards and best practices. The company said it is determined to maintain compliance with ISO 45001 v 2018, ISO 9001 v 2015, and ISO 14001 v 2015, ensuring that their operations meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Furthermore, Friedlander is currently gearing up to commence the fabrication of piping, structures, and various equipment for companies in the oil and gas sector and other key industries like mining, energy, and food production. Its new fabrication facility, currently under construction within the annex, will be at the heart of these operations.
