A male body has been recovered during the ongoing search and rescue operation following the capsizing of MV Barima yesterday.
The deceased is described as having long curly hair and was wearing black jeans and a recognizable belt, which may assist with identification by relatives.
This is according to a post made by the Facebook Page operated by the Leader of the Opposition, Azruddin Mohamed.
The body is being transported to Charity for the necessary procedures. Search and recovery efforts remain ongoing.
