Amidst public outcry over the increased price for fuel at the nationโs pumps, the Guyana Oil Company Ltd (GUYOIL) has reduced the prices for gasolene and diesel.
Gasolene has been reduced from $230/litre to $226/litre and Gasoil (LSD) from $219/litre to $215/litre.
The company said that these reduced prices take effect from tomorrow
It said, โThe price reductions were possible due to declining acquisition costs and the savings are now being passed on to customers.โ
