One man is dead and his attacker is battling for his life at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) following a stabbing incident at Sixth and Cummings Streets, Alberttown moments ago.
The names of the victim and suspect have not been released as yet.
The details surrounding the stabbing are unclear at this moment but investigators are currently at the scene questioning persons.
The Guyana Standard has been informed that the two men were seen arguing before they attacked each other.
A kitchen knife was found in the deceased’s hand.
