A Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) Clerk, was yesterday charged for allegedly forging one certificate vehicle registration and one motor car licence.

Thirty-five-year-old Rondell Lyte denied the charge which stated that between October 1, 2017 and October 31, 2017 at Guyana Revenue Authority, Camp Street, Georgetown, with intent to defraud, he conspired with persons and forged one certificate vehicle registration and one motor car licence in favour of Seawattie Sukhoo to show that same was issued by GRA.

Lyte denied the charge after it was read to him by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.

With no objection being raised by Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh, the defendant was released on $40,000 bail.

He was instructed to make his next court appearance on February 7, 2020.
