A France national who claimed to be a close friend of United States President, Donald Trump and secret service agent to Pope Francis, was today charged and remanded for entering Guyana illegally.

The woman, 50-year-old Sylvie Janine Pauline Dubose, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.

She denied the charge which stated that between December 15, 2019 and December 20, 2019 at Springlands, Corentyne, Berbice, she entered Guyana by sea and disembarked without the consent of an immigration officer.

The woman, in addressing the court stated, “I am a member of the CIA [Central Intelligence Unit’] so when I came to Guyana from Suriname the immigration people told me they can’t accept me because my passport had no stamp.”

The woman who spoke through the aid of an interpreter added, “I am a secret service agent for Pope Francis and I’m a CIA agent for America for 14 years.”

When asked by the Magistrate why she came to Guyana, the woman explained, “I came to get a plane from Brazil because the mafia kidnapped my two kids five months ago. The mafia also killed my husband and I was forced to spend five months in Brazil.”

She continued, “While in Brazil, my friend Donald Trump came over and told the mafia to release my kids. They did but because I’m having difficulty to get a plane to USA, they took back my kids.

Facts presented by Police Prosecutor Gordon Mansfield stated that on January 4, 2020, the woman was arrested at the Eugene F. Correira Airport after it was observed that there was no immigration stamp in her French passport that she presented to the immigration officer.

She was then arrested and taken to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters where investigation revealed that she entered Guyana illegally via Springlands. Further investigations revealed that within the past few months she has been to Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.

The mother of two was instructed to make her next court appearance on January 13, 2020 at the Springlands Magistrate’s Courts.
