A 56-year-old businessman is currently a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), after he was shot to the abdomen and right thigh by one of four males who broke into his storage bond.

According to a police release, David Cameron of Lot 81 Howes Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, was in his cold storage bond, which is attached to the eastern side of the lower flat of his home when the perpetrators rushed into the bond, brandishing guns.

They shot him twice, ransacked the bond, and escaped with $200,000 in cash. The incident occurred yesterday around 17:30 hrs, according to a statement from police headquarters.

The businessman was rushed to the GPHC where he was admitted for gunshot wounds; his condition is regarded as serious.
