Police are investigating the alleged murder of Tyrone Thomas of Charity, Essequibo Coast, which occurred sometime between September 1 and 6, 2020 at Thomas Island, Puruni River.

Thomas’ boss (no name provided) told the police that he left the miner and another worker, a Brazilian National, in the camp about a week ago. He told investigators that the last time he heard from Thomas was when he informed him that the Brazilian national had left the camp.
