Police say that 17-year-old, Haresh Singh, of Number 3 Village, West Coast Berbice was killed this morning.
Information received so far is that the victim left home on his motorcycle to attend his farm in the Backdam of No. 3 Vilage, West Coast Berbice.
Sometime after, his relatives saw smoke arising from the said backdam and left to enquire when they discovered Singh’s body lying motionless and bleeding from the nose. His motor cycle was also discovered burnt.
Investigations are ongoing.
