Gyms or fitness centres can now be open to the public, but those establishments are only permitted to operate at 50% capacity of the buildings in which they are housed. This is in accordance with the new anti-COVID-19 guidelines that will go into effect from November 1 through 30.

The operators of these establishments shall be responsible for ensuring that their staff and customers comply with the guidelines issued by the Health Ministry.

It was noted that if any person, organizer or operator fails to comply with the guidelines, the Health Ministry reserves the right to take action, which may include the shutting down of that business, or prohibiting the event.
