An 18-year-old, Tuschen New Housing Scheme vendor is now counting his losses after he was robbed by a cutlass-wielding bandit last night at the Tuschen Housing Scheme Access Road.

The incident took place sometime around 21:30hrs, as the victim was walking south along the road heading home when he was confronted by two men on a bicycle.

One of the suspects then rushed to him with a cutlass, placed it to his neck, and told him to hand over everything.

The other suspect then relieved him of one five-pennyweight gold chain valued at $65,000.00, two Samsung Galaxy cellular phones (A10 and A20) valued $90,000.00 and $10,000 cash.

On completion, both suspects jumped onto their bicycles and made good their escape.

Investigations are underway.
