Another Guyanese, who tested positive for COVID-19, has died, taking the death toll to 602. The latest fatality has been identified as a 58-year-old, Region Four man, who passed away yesterday while receiving medical attention.
Meanwhile, Guyana has recorded an additional 207 cases, taking the number of infections since March 2020 to 24,713.
There are 23 persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 108 in institutional isolation, 1,465 in home isolation and five in institutional quarantine.
Some 22,515 persons have recovered since March 2020.
