Akash Pechia, 22, a labourer of #50 Village, who escaped from the No. 51 Police Station police custody yesterday, was caught at Hazel Street, Springlands, Corriverton, Berbice.
He was initially arrested for larceny and other offences. Pechia was taken to the Springlands Police Station. He is expected to be charged soon.
