A 27-year-old man was yesterday relieved of his car, cellphone, laptop, and cash during a robbery at Tucville Terrace, East La Penitence, Georgetown.

Enquiries disclosed that the victim was driving through Tucville Terrace around 11:00hrs, when he stopped to urinate, leaving the driver’s door opened and the ignition on.

He was confronted by four men who came from an eastern direction on two motorcycles, registration number, model, and colour unknown.

One of the pillion riders dismounted the motorcycle, pulled out a handgun from the waist of his pants, pointed it at the victim, and demanded that he hand over his valuables.

The said pillion rider then entered the victim’s motorcar which contained the other mentioned articles and drove away with same in an eastern direction on Tucville Terrace, while the other perpetrators followed making good their escape.

Checks were made to locate the perpetrators, without success.

Investigations are ongoing.
