A Venezuelan national called “Dorion” whose particulars are unknown at this time was killed yesterday at Return, Baramita, North West District.
Preliminary enquiries revealed that about 19:55hrs residents heard several loud explosions suspected to be gunshots and screaming, which caused a report to be made at Baramita Police Station via cellphone.
Ranks visited the area and observed that the man was lying motionless, face up with several suspected gunshot wounds to his face, chest and back. He was unresponsive.
He was rushed to Baramita Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by the medex. His body was placed on ice and will be escorted to Port Kaituma for a Post-Mortem Examination.
