Police in Regional Division Three are currently investigating a report of an alleged rape committed on a 16-year-old female student.
The incident occurred yesterday about 20:00hrs at the victim’s home.
Enquiries disclosed that the suspect and the victim are known to each other via the social media platform, Facebook.
The suspect reportely showed up at the victim’s home and as soon as she opened the door he pushed her inside and forcefully committed the act. The victim was home alone at the time.
Police are presently looking for the suspect as investigations continue.
