Cops in Regional Division 4 ‘B’ are investigating a stabbing incident which led to the death of 29-year-old, Venezuelan National, Yocter Eduardo Gonzalez. The incident occurred at Raghoo Sports Bar at the Soesdyke Junction two days ago about 21:50hrs.
Police say that the victim was with his brother and some friends at the bar when the suspect approached the victim and they had a altercation.
During the row, the suspect dealt the victim a stab to his right side chest, before fleeing.
Gonzalez was rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre, where he was pronounced dead at 12:35hrs by Dr Williams.
Quick action by the police led to the suspect being apprehended. Investigations are ongoing.
