Three students have tied for the top position at this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA). They are Jonathan Avery Gomes of Josel Education Institute; Neuel Joshia Bancroft of Annandale Primary; and Angelica Subryan of Cumberland Primary. They attained 518 marks and have secured placements at Queen’s College.

Coming in fourth with 517 marks were Elliana Leiah Ganpat of Mae’s under 12 Primary and Sierra Grace Prescod of Westfield Prep.

The seventh position with 516 marks went to Elijah Yuvraj Ram of Graham’s Hall Primary; Adalyn Bernard of the New Guyana School; Tanika Sukhdeo of the Academy of Excellence; Arya Mohamed of Success Elementary; and Ziyaad Ally of Aurora Primary.

Coming in twelfth with 515 marks were Jaliyah Holder of the New Guyana School; Kaiyah Ramkissoon of the New Guyana School; Parnita Kishun of the Dharmic Rama Krishna School; Jaren Boucher of Genesis Early Childhood; and Sarah Baharally of the Suddie Primary.

Some 16, 223 candidates wrote this year’s examination.
