The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is reporting the “unnatural death” of 59-year-old Anthonio Aliviro, a miner of Brazil which occurred on June 16 at Kangaruma Village, Middle Mazaruni River.

Investigations revealed that the victim was suffering from hypertension and on the date of the occurrence was in the mining camp watching television when he suddenly fell to the ground and became unconscious. He was rushed to the Kangaruma Health Post where he was pronounced dead on arrival by Doctor Wilson.

 

The body was checked by police and no marks of violence were seen. The body is presently at Kamgaruma Village await transportation to be escorted to Georgetown.
