Oceaneering, a prominent name in the oil and gas industry, has unveiled its intention to collaborate with local real estate companies to elevate the quality of housing for its workforce. The call to action comes in the form of a Request for Information (RFI) which was recently published by the company.

The essence of this RFI revolves around Oceaneering’s pursuit of contemporary and well-equipped apartment and staff housing solutions tailored to meet its employees’ needs. The RFI presents a detailed outline of the specific criteria and features Oceaneering is seeking in these accommodations.

Under the RFI, Oceaneering said it is keen on partnering with real estate entities capable of providing housing options that encompass various essential features. These include options for both apartments and houses with an emphasis on well-furnished interiors.

Additionally, Oceaneering is seeking accommodations that can offer a comprehensive array of services, including cleaning, to ensure that living spaces remain well-maintained and comfortable. Practical aspects such as parking facilities and robust security systems are also of paramount importance.

To enhance the living experience of its workforce, Oceaneering is encouraging partners to consider the inclusion of value-added features. These may include the provision of gym facilities and outdoor recreational spaces, contributing to an improved work-life balance for employees.

An integral aspect of this initiative is the accessibility of the housing locations to vital services. Oceaneering stipulates that these accommodations should be situated in secure neighborhoods, conveniently close to supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants, ensuring ease of daily living for the employees.

Oceaneering’s work in Guyana’s oil and gas industry includes offering remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services, specialty oilfield subsea hardware, deepwater intervention and manned diving services, non-destructive testing and inspections, engineering and project management, and surveying and mapping services.

Prospective collaborators who wish to participate in this endeavor are invited to submit their proposals. Oceaneering has designated specific email addresses for proposal submission, ensuring a streamlined communication process.
