Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, today led the Ministry of Agriculture’s weekly Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) assessment, convening heads of departments and agencies at his office to examine the implementation of ongoing projects and programmes.

Discussions centred on the status of investments being undertaken by the Ministry and its agencies, including progress made to date, issues impacting implementation, and the steps required to address those challenges and maintain momentum.

The weekly review is a key part of the Ministry’s monitoring and oversight process, providing the Minister and technical teams with a regular platform to evaluate project performance against established targets, identify areas requiring attention, and ensure public investments remain focused on achieving their intended outcomes and delivering tangible benefits to citizens.
