The A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) is promising a series of measures should it aquire the trust and votes of the people come September 1, 2025.

It promises to pay a childcare allowance of $120,000 for each child attending school below the age of 18. This payment will be made regardless of whether the parents are employed or not.

It also promises to pay a childcare allowance of $120,000 per year to each child below school age and an additional “monthly nutrition voucher” of $2,500 or more per child from 1 to 5 years.

It will also increase the current paid 13-week maternity leave by several weeks and reclassify it as Paid Parental Leave.

The party, in its manifesto, also promises to provide top-quality health care and well-being support for mothers and children throughout pregnancy and childhood.

Further, it noted that it will build a network of free and safe early childhood education centres countrywide to facilitate more female participation in the workforce.

Also, the party is promising to promote flexible working conditions and supportive workplaces for parents and increase the number of caregivers through training and better pay.
