Cops in Regional Division 4 ‘C’ are investigating an alleged incident of Malicious Damage to Property, which occurred about 07:10hrs on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Mon Repos School Road, East Coast Demerara (ECD)
Enquiries revealed that Canter, GAC 7299, driven by a 49-year-old man of Good Hope, ECD, was proceeding north along Mon Repos School Road when an encounter occurred with motorcar PAG 4521, driven by a 42-year-old businesswoman of Mon Repos North, ECD, who was proceeding in the opposite direction.
Both vehicles continued on their way. However, while the driver of the canter was waiting at the traffic light on the said road, the female driver approached, stopped her vehicle, exited with a metal pipe and struck the canter, damaging the window glass and the right-side rear-view mirror.
The businesswoman was later arrested and escorted to the Mon Repos Police Outpost, where she was placed into custody pending investigation.
Investigations are ongoing.
