In an effort to encourage regular hand washing and fight the spread of the Coronavirus disease, the Rotary Club of Georgetown reached out to Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) to assist with the supply of water to hand washing sinks at Stabroek Market Square.

The Club installed sinks, equipped with liquid soap and a storage tank that will be accessible 24 hours. They were installed yesterday in observance of World Water Day.

GWI welcomes this initiative and pledges to work with the Club to lend assistance in any way possible, to replicate these efforts in other parts of the country.
