A supervisor of a security company lost his life last evening after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a utility pole at Unity Public Road , Mahaica, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Dead is 34-year-old Taiknauth Samlall of lot 5 Lancaster Unity, Mahaica, East Coat Demerara (ECD). Based on police reports, the man was riding motorc CK 777 proceeding west along the southern carriageway reportedly at a fast rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a utility pole on the southern parapet.
The accident occurred at around 20:35 hrs
Samlall who sustained severe injuries about his body , was taken to the Mahaicony Cottage Hospital in an unconscious state and was pronounced dead on arrival.
His body is at Lyken’s Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem examination.
