The Ministry of Education has announced that results for the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) are expected to be released in September.

Some 14,730 candidates across Guyana braved the exams in July, amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, while adhering to the strict protocols set out by the Ministry to prevent infections.

The students wrote Science and English Language examinations on July 1, 2020, and Mathematics and Social Studies examinations on July 2, 2020, after months of preparation.

The results are expected to be released on or before September 25, 2020, according to the Ministry.
