More than two years after her passing, the son of former Political Assistant attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Sandra Adams, is still living in government property, a luxury to which he has no entitlement.

This was recently revealed by Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill during an interview with Guyana Standard.

The Minister indicated that his ministry has responsibility for all government buildings including those used for housing of government functionaries.
He said that there are many Guyanese from far-flung areas whose skills are going to be utilized by the new government. “We have to find accommodation for them, so these houses need to be cleared.”

Sandra Adams was the sister of former Minister of Housing, Valerie Adams.
