Three more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 441. The patients were admitted with COVID-19 like symptoms but died while receiving care at medical institutions. Samples were taken at the time of admission which subsequently returned positive tests, the Health Ministry said today.

Meanwhile, the Ministry has recorded an additional 75 cases, taking the number of infections reported since March 2020 to 18,733.

According to the Ministry’s Surveillance Report, 22 persons are in the Intensive Care Unit, 109 in institutional isolation, 1,521 in home isolation, and two in institutional quarantine.
