A vendor was today charged with the murder of Robert Bizzeth, called ‘Channa man’.

40-year-old Kimbia James Prescod called “Bow Life” and “Moon Light”, of Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, where he was remanded until July 29.

He was not required to plead to the charge which stated that on June 26, at Stabroek Market Square, Georgetown, he murdered Robert Bizzeth known as “Brick” or “Channa Man”.

According to reports, the 35-year-old man of Cane View Avenue, South Ruimveldt was stabbed to death at Stabroek Market after being involved in a fight over the movement of a business cart. Bizzeth was stabbed to his neck and other parts of his body.
